Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are available for students who wish to study at ALA.

We also offer a proprietary scholarship.

ALA Scholarship

Eligible students: Open to all students who have already studied at ALA for 2 terms.
Number of recipients: 2-4 people/term
Amount of grant: approximately 15% of 3 months’ tuition fee
【Conditions】
1. To attend the course for 9 months or longer (3 Terms)
2. Good attendance
3. To be recommended by a class teacher

CSN (financial aid for studies by the Swedish government)

Eligible students: Swedish students. Since ALA is accredited by CSN(The Swedish National Board of Student Assistance Bolad), Swedish students registering at our Japanese language program have elected to apply for student loans to CSN.

The Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students

Eligible students: Students who plan to enroll in college or university
Application period: Every April to May
Amount of grant: JPY30,000 x 12 months

Eligible students: Students from Asian countries.
Amount of grant: JPY 100,000 in 5 months.
